The Lake Anna Civic Association is a 501(c)3 organization that represents the interests of property owners around the lake. LACA is involved in numerous programs designed to protect the watershed and beauty of the lake and your membership and donations assist us in fulfilling that mission.
For nearly two decades LACA has conducted water quality sampling between April and October in conjunction with the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality and, along with the Environmental Preservation Committee, strives to control the harmful algae outbreaks. The Land Use Committee monitors potential development and business activity, weighing in on aspects that might impact the lake's watershed while the Emergency Services and Safety Committee coordinates with various EMS and law enforcement agencies.
Memberships, which include two household members, start at $25.00 a year with discounted rates of $45.00 for two years and $60.00 for three years. As a member of LACA you will receive electronic newsletters with articles of interest on issues occurring at the lake. You will also occasionally receive "e-grams", brief emails with time sensitive information such as the cancellation of the fireworks show, upcoming meetings you need to be aware of or if swim or usage advisories are issued.
Memberships begin when we receive payment and will expire one, two, or three years from that date.
