The Lake Anna Civic Association holds its annual membership meeting on the last Saturday of July at Callie Opie's Event Barn. The meeting is open to all members in good standing and begins at 9 a.m. with a continental breakfast and time to interface with the various committees. The official meeting begins at 9:30 a.m. and features a review of the past year’s activities, election of officers, reports from the committees and a guest speaker on a topic of interest or impacting the lake and it environs.
This year's meeting is scheduled for Saturday, July 27, 2024. The guest speakers are Stacy Brown and Sergeant Hatmaker from the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources. The meeting will also feature reports by other committees and a recap of LACA's activities during the year. One of the other highlights is the presentation of the Jack Bertron Distinguished Service Award, recognizing outstanding efforts on behalf of the Lake Anna community.
