More Volunteers Needed - Adopt A Highway Event

Come help make the approach to Lake Anna more beautiful.  The fall Adopt-A-Highway cleanup event is scheduled for Saturday September 28 at 9 am. We'll meet in the Smile Lake Anna parking lot at 5205 Courthouse Rd Spotsylvania. LACA will provide safety vests and grabbers. VDOT is supplying the trash bags and road clean up warning signs. The cleanup will take 2-3 hours and can be used as public service time for your high schoolers. Ou cleanup zone runs along route 208 from Sturgeon Creek Marina to Lawyers Rd (beside the Dollar Store). I look forward to seeing you on the 28th! Feel free to reach out with any questions.
